About Me
I have served as a classroom teacher for the Coeur D'Alene School District for 14 years. I have been with the Bridge Academy since its inception in the fall of 2003, and for the past two years, I was blessed with the opportunity to serve as the school's director. Before Bridge, I worked as a classroom teacher and as a liaison for neglected and delinquent youth in the District 1 Juvenile Detention Center. I have taught classes in a variety of subject matters. I am endorsed to teach English, History, Social Studies, and Humanities. However, My favorite subject is Math, and I am happy to report that I am one class and one comprehensive exam away from the completion of my Secondary Math endorsement. My Alma Mater is Gonzaga University, and as you might have guessed, I value education. I strive for balance in my professional and personal life. I believe in my students and I am dedicated to facilitating their academic and personal growth and success. More than anything else, I value my parents, my husband, my three children [their partners], my three grandchildren, my extended family, and my friends.
