H1N1 Update

Dear Bridge Academy Parents,
Since seven schools have reported one or more cases of H1N1 [Swine Flu], the District has decided to not send home letters after each new case is diagnosed. Instead, information and updates will be posted on the District website.

Today: 2/9/10

Welcome to The Bridge Academy Website.

The Bridge Academy Alternative School, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, fills a vital need for those students for whom traditional educational methods have failed. Established in 2003 as an alternative for high school learning, The Bridge Academy has helped hundreds of students improve their self-esteem and reach their goal of graduation. Part of the program's success is due to the fact that students are required to obtain employment and complete community service.  This sense of responsibility prepares students for the general workforce and instills confidence. The Bridge Academy has been the recepient of numerous awards, including: Idaho Brightest Star Award, Dropout Prevention Program Award, Best Practice Award for Educational Organizations, and the Citizen's Council for the Arts 2008 Brooten Purchase Award.

The Bridge Academy is currently taking applications for the 2009-2010 school year.

An application is available in the resource locker to the right.

Principal's Message

The District #271 Bridge Academy has been a successful credit retrieval program since 2003.  The Bridge Academy and Project CDA Alternative High Schools share the same campus and core values.  It is our goal to cultivate positive attitudes in students that will produce productive individuals. It is our mission to create a school culture of community that will help students optimize and discover their full potential. "We are the alternative approach to convention."
